Discover the Cattle Queen's Legacy.
When Margaret Carlston drove 500 head of cattle across miles of unfenced land from Canada into Montana in 1903, she was providing the best known red meat of her day. Gaining the title "Cattle Queen of Montana®" she earned the respect of ranchers and politicians alike, raising and marketing top quality beef as a highly prized source of protein in the Old West.
Named after her great grandmother, Kathy Margaret Carlston Lindner and her husband Ken, proudly bring you top quality grassfed bison as a delicious and healthful red meat alternative to Great-grandma Carlstons beef.
Lindner Bison forage on native grasses, pretty much as they always did and are free of questionable drugs or hormones. Naturally lower in fat and cholesterol, higher in protein, bison is incredibly delicious, with a flavor similar to beef.
Margaret Carlstons pioneering spirit, work ethic and vision provide an important cornerstone in Lindner Bison. Kathy and Ken proudly invite you to join them as you
